Single Twist Stranders
Light, high-strength carbon fiber rotors enable high rotor speeds, and back-twist pay-offs keep pay-off tension minimal for sensitive products. The lines can twist a range of products, including control cables, data cables, and fiber optics. Use of an integrated capstan holds pitch constant during stranding and taping, including through acceleration and deceleration, and allows tension decoupling between the pay-off and take-up sides.
Bow Strander
Bow stranders, capable of processing reels up to 1600 mm, using either steel or composite bows depending on the application. Custom-designed rollers are built in to prevent friction on the product surface, protecting sensitive wire and cable products during stranding. These lines can also be supplied turnkey, complete with capstans, taping heads, and other ancillary equipment
Tubular Stranding
Tubular stranders reflect decades of refined engineering in wire and cable manufacturing, with every detail built for durability and consistent performance. A solid, precision-balanced rotor keeps operation smooth even at high speeds, and a responsive drive and braking system deliver reliable power with easy, low-maintenance upkeep. An easy-to-load cradle system keeps bobbins secure and ready to go.
SZ Stranders
SZ stranders twist multiple wires together by alternating the lay direction between S and Z, which lets wires pay off from stationary baskets or reels rather than requiring a rotating, back-twisting pay-off. Each stranding disc can be driven by its own independent motor or synchronized through a single torsion shaft, depending on the line configuration. Cross binders are typically integrated in-line, together with longitudinal or concentric taping heads, to bind and finish the strand as it moves through the line.
Planetary Stranders
Planetary stranders are the go-to choice for many customers. A robust, well-supported cage design keeps the whole system stable and smooth-running at speed, while a reliable drive and braking system keeps everything responsive and low-maintenance. Bobbins are cradled securely, with precise tension control keeping every wire feeding evenly from start to finish.
Capstans
Capstans are essential, both rotating and non-rotating, for guaranteeing a constant pitch when stranding or applying tapes, especially during acceleration and deceleration, and furthermore to decouple tension between the pay-off side and the take-up side
